Sharp RD504 Tape Recorder
This advert comes from the March 1968 issue of Tape Recorder magazine. I never used this actual recorder although I was using a very similar looking 5″ diameter reel battery/mains machine from National (nowadays Panasonic) by the end of 1967. Look at the price – can you convert guineas into today’s decimal money? The national average weekly wage in 1966 was 23/9/5d.
