Stratford upon Avon to Birmingham (Moor Street) (12 Tickets)
This line came perilously close to closure, at one time closure was scheduled for 5th May 1969; my father and Eric Parker travelled the line just before closure was meant to take effect. It was a very close call though – five local authorities obtained an injunction in the Appeal Court against BR on 2nd May 1969 – and the line is still with us today.
