Cine Film Collections.
Over the years I have been given a considerable amount of mainly railway-related cine film, covering both the UK and abroad. A large amount of effort was put into creating these films and virtually all of the people concerned are now dead. It seems a great shame if the material just sits on a shelf gathering dust, and for a while I have felt that something needs to be done with the film.
My thoughts at the moment are to upload material to YouTube with links from my website. It will be freely downloadable, but if any is copied for any other use please credit the original film maker and my website.
R. E. Hammond in the era of these films lived at 15, Stanley Park, Easton, Bristol BS5 6DT. It is a massive collection of film with well over 100 x 400ft reels and mostly dating from the 1970s & 1980s. There are only very basic notes for each of the films and I have also copied these. The numbering sequence of the films is largely that adopted by Ray. Most are preserved/heritage railway material, including tours on the main line.
To me, this is one of the most interesting, and with no railway content at all!
Reel 202 - 1968 Remains of 13 arches, 1968 Concorde is rolled out, 1969 Concorde leaves Filton, 1970 Sailing ship in Avon Gorge, 1970 Return of SS Great Britain.

Mostly 1970s cine film including foreign/continental.
If anybody knew Andrew Chandler please get in touch with me as I have a 400ft reel of family material.
